Nate, really? Posting on instagram when you could have been killed? My god. Kids do anything for attention these days.

So happy you were safe from harm and didn't have to be in that school when it happened.

Are you ****ing kidding me? That kid saved multiple lives today. Granted he's kind of an asshole, but a hero nonetheless.

Chile... why you mad at me?
It's great that he saved lives, but the fact remains that it seems that he looks for attention. Seeking attention and posting pics of my injury are the last things I would do, even if I saved lives. I would be in SHOCK!
I am glad that you were safe from the harm, but you better sit down sis.

If we had open carry in schools, someone could have shot the assailant! Gun > knife

The safety resource officer that called 911 carries a gun and a taser.

My best friend's brother was one of the kids that got stabbed. I was almost in the area where the attacks happened. The fact that you're trivializing that a kid saved possibly dozens of lives by pulling the fire alarm and the two girls that he threw himself in front of so they weren't attacked, because he posted an instagram picture and them telling me who is personally involved in the tragedy to "take a seat" and posting Madonna gifs is disgusting. This is a serious issue.

Oh my god, what are you talking about? I NEVER trivialized the fact that he saved lives, I am just stating my opinion. Jeez, really? I said the last thing I would do is to post a picture of myself on Instagram. That, if anything, is attention seeking in MY OPINION. You have no right to tell me what to think.

People can react to shocking or traumatizing experiences in many different ways. Maybe Nate's way was just to be calm, and go on posting on social media like he always would. That might make him feel happy and like everything was still normal.
Either way, this story is so sad, but it is awesome that so many people saved lives and were heroes today.

A shy teenager with no prior violent tendencies who went on a random, stabbing rampage at his high school on Wednesday told his arresting officers that he 'wanted to die'.
Alex Hribal, 16, stalked through Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville near Pittsburgh early on Wednesday morning, stabbing victims in the torso and slashing their arms and faces before being tackled by assistant principal Sam King.
The attacker was described by students as a small, quiet boy who largely kept to himself but was not an outcast and did not appear to have been bullied. There were no indications before the attack that the sophomore might be violent.
Student witnesses said that Hribal, who was dressed in black and wielding a 10-inch kitchen knife in each hand, was 'calm and expressionless', not uttering a word as he stabbed at random.
