Very rarely. I did it recently because it was the first time I saw my mother in a long time and she had been diagnosed with having cancer since then, so I was very excited to see her and it happened. It's a great way to show affection, in my opinion.
Yes, my father and my grandpa, but it's only before a departing. My mom was the same with her dad. There's no incestuous intent or feeling about it either; although they don't do it with boys of the family. Must be a culture thing?
