Okay, now it is at #58 on the Pop 100. I'm kinda losing hope for it now, especially since it dropped a little bit on the Bubbling Under chart. BTW, could someone please tell me which version of Cry For You has been released here to the US market? Is it the original version? Or is it the new 2008 version that was released to the UK?
Yes and that's your opinion, I don't like it because it has been on rotate since March in the UK, and has been in our top 20 for 3 months, staying power you might say, I say ****in annoying!
Oh lord no ! The US does not deserve such a **** song to take over their airwaves. I know you like it now, but if they play it constantly like they did in the UK, you'll get sick of it quick. The song is still being on rotate on the music channels in the UK. It's such an annoying thing for a song released months ago to still being gaining even more airplay. I hope September goes away, the girl is hot but it's a shame that CFY is furiously irritating.
Do you know the kind of music that gets overplayed on radio here in the US? Having CFY played on radio here would be a breath of fresh air. I wouldn't mind hearing it overplayed. It would be better than hearing songs like Low and Lollipop repeatedly played again and again.
^ You are right, it is essentially a pop song with a dance beat, but Americans who have no appreciation for this sort of music refer to anything even slightly dancey as techno. I'm pretty sure if I talked to a few people here in the States they'd call Kylie techno too.
I like September (Kinda) but I don't like CFY. The UK chooses 10 songs and *****s them out on the radio and the TV channels for atleast 3 - 4 months, I would love to hear Lollipop repeatedely I love it But Low nah, that got *****d here to by all the chavs, even though I liked it But everyone likes it, and I'm glad that a different kind of music can break into the American charts, just wish it was a better song.
BTW, I think it suddenly appeared on the Bubbling Under chart due to the fact that it's been played many times in NY and Chicago, causing people in those areas to download it. However, until it gets to released to mainstream Top 40 radio, which it probably won't, I doubt that the song will chart on the Hot 100.
Oh, and you guys are right, this actually is a Dance-Pop song, not Techno.
