I read an article somewhere that SH has already sold over 7 million copies. Soundscan doesn't get sales stats from several retailers (i.e. Costco, Wal-mart, etc.) so it's very likely that she's sold several hundred thousand copies more. According to Billboard, Soundscan only accounts for a little over 80% of the sales market so Carrie has already lived up to her 7x platinum certification.

Well said. Sadly, the Jonas Brothers are huge right now. They have sold only 7k more than Rihanna so far, and that is gonna change next week ^__^
