Canadians would be on the losing end because of population differences and they'd remove socialism and have capitalism put into place there.

If that happened:

-The US would be bigger and more dominating
-Canada would not be like the Switzerland of the Western Hemisphere, all of North America would be struggling against nonsense conservativism (not allowing gay marriage, creationism, racism have historically been issues in the US but they would affect Canada as well)
-The French language would have been lost in Quebec as it was lost in Louisiana
-Culturewise I don't see much change

Maybe that new America would learn a thing or two from the Canadians who are not as conservative as the Americans. But no I'd rather not. I like Canada and the Canadians too much to wish that upon them.

I am Canadian (born and raised there) and i just would rather not have that done. our free health care would get messed up tbh and Americans are far too overpopulated,dangerous,conservative for our soft ,cute,open minded and polite personalities. lol tots kidding tho

I just think it wouldn't work out. I think Canada would be as late as america in so many things like it would drag both countries down tbh. I'd be open to like mass immigration happening on both ends like if Americans need to come then come and if Canadians need to go then go in case of some emergency or w/e but for it to be one country just dosnt seem like the right thing. Canadians and Americans have developed their own trade mark qualities, flaws,traditions etc and merging both would just wipe out the beauty and the distinction of both cultures ect.
