Regardless of any study (this is probably flawed as many studies are), I understand why this could be true.
Gay people have to learn how to adapt in a society that challenges &, at times, even rejects them.
Straight people are the status quo, regardless of any other factors, so they really don't have to second-guess & analyze everything about their internal selves.
