Auron and Kimhari have around 6500,Yuna and Tidus have 4500,Wakka has 5000 and Rikku and Lulu only have 3500 but I don't really use them
So, yeah, just have Protect on. Make your healer a priority. And if you have enough potions and whatnot… also, make Tidus a priority with the Quick Hit and all. I'm not sure if you did, but if you start catching all the monsters in certain areas, you can actually get some pretty awesome swag for Rikku's Mix ability and just in general.

Replace all +1,+2,+3 nodes with the +4 spheres then add to the empty ones till you reach 255. You don't need to boost evasion or accuracy since Luck covers both of those (I believe). Maxing your HP isn't necessary but you can reach 99,999 if you want.

I have been so against doing that this whole time, but I guess it's necessary. I'm having the worst time finding a guide saying which spheres come from which enemies and what the final stats will end up at without filling in any empty nodes.

You don't have to clear spheres but if don't then you won't reach the max HP limit (shouldn't be a problem if you aren't a perfectionist). I forgot which monsters drop which but you can just beat the monsters in the arena to find out. I'm pretty sure gamefaqs has a guide on it

That video on the last page really helped. For a clearer understanding, go into the crack, then run behind the two holes on the ground then run straight back ready to press X. Make sure you have no encounters on, and set increments for yourself like 50/4 or 25/8. Don't try for the full 200 unless you're determined to do that long. If you need to, play a song you like that will keep you focused, mute the television, and/or play in total silence.
I got to 200 easy and now the only sigil I'm having issues with is Tidus'.
Finally got all celestial weapons and theyre all powered except for the Jupiter Sigil but i WILLL get it. Took me 3 days to get the Venus sigil 2 without the video and 1 w/ it. My commitment to Lulu is so real even though shes useless post-game

I did beat Dark Valefor last night. So now I have Yuna and Auron celestial weapons activated and just got Anima and Magus Sisters. Magus Sister already have 40K hp and both them and Anima normal attacks already hurt 99,999. End of the game and Omega Weapon are so easy now. But those darn Dark Aeons will be the death of me, and I wanna go in order. So I've been stuck at D. Ifrit. Thanks for all the help guys
Lulu and Tidus' ultimate weapons are just so unreasonably difficult I cannot I've been generally using every character but they've just fallen behind without the ability to break damage limit.
