If you have terrible, basic taste and don't watch actual good movies. I guess I can see the appeal of a "shut your brain off for 2 hours" sort of film every now and then, but every 3 months (which is how often the they come out, it seems), bye.

and what are these "actual good movies"? indie sundance films in some foreign language with dragged out basic plot structures told in some artsy, dried up fashion with fairly unknown actors, writers and directors who are never heard from again?
or perhaps Oscar nominated movies with high profile actors dressing in drag for their best actor award with cinematography that looks so placid and dull it makes people fall asleep within the first ten minutes of the opening credits?
super hero comic book films are supposed to be fun. maybe not supposed to have complex stories and characters, but for like two hours you suspend your disbelief and have fun. seriously get your faux complex cinematic tastes a new reality check and stop praising dull films just because they aren't popular or high profile and start bashing films that have legitimate problems with their execution i.e. Twilight and the Hangover.
