First off i'd just like to say I LOVE Rihanna alot and I don't mean to upset the navy but do you think she can continue the rihanna reign as strongly as before she took her break? I mean it's not like she's been out of the public eye totally because of The monster and CRTFY but I just wonder if it was because of the fact that she was always there to provide a new bop all the time that she continued to collect those number 1s.

So many factors at play here... but considering her eras always start off strong I'll say no.

it really depends on how she decides to promote the album. if it is well orchestrated like Loud then she will sell really well but if its a mess in terms of promo like a few other albums then it will sell less then Unapologetic for sure.
Rihanna is a tricky artist tbh. her music slays and her performances are always really exciting but she seems to always be on the edge of either HUGE glory/sales or of lacking success.

Her first two singles will most likely do well and her albums slightly below average, as usual I don't see this break effecting her normal release success

But it is Rihanna not Gaga this will be her 8th, it's not a fad.
