What's wrong with only wanting hip-hop music on it? Can she have at least one album without any pop in which we can say 'go listen to The Pink Print if you wanna hear a classic female rap album' in which you address The Blueprint or Tha Carter III if someone asks for a classic rap album. Now, C3 had Lollipop which was 6 weeks #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 6/7x platinum while being a rap song. It was a rap song which could be enjoyed by a pop audience too. That's what I want for Nicki to happen this time and what I think she means by saying pop fans shouldn't worry.

That's because he knows which producers have sent in beats for her, haha.

I understand what you're saying but Nicki isn't your typical rapper, pop is a part of her sound she's put it into most of her work. I just can't see her completely abandoning it anytime soon

I feel the same way. Towards the lower middle of the album, but not at the end.

There is nothing wrong with it. I feel the same way. I want her to do hip-hop as well. But saying what you said about people who want a pop song or two is still not okay.

Yeah, I think she is tired of people saying that she WENT pop. She never left hip-hop and rapping, but by saying she went pop it implies that she did leave rap.

I love how she's booking these shows without music announced. It makes things much more exciting.

I'll say this, I agree with Weezy on wanting a complete Hip-Hop album with no Pop influence. I want straight, hard-hitting Nicki to shine throughout the whole album.

As far as Pop, I'm not opposed to it at all as I enjoy a lot of her Pop tracks. I just think that after PF:RR, she should stick to straight Hip-Hop to make the statement that I know she wants to make. I want this album to be her classic album.

Since she's already confirmed that there will be some Pop on the album (perhaps Pop influenced but still Hip-Hop), I'm interested in seeing how it will play out.

That does not mean that she's abandoning it. It won't be 100% Hip-Hop. Stop wildin.

Do you know/ have you heard her mixtape songs? And have you heard Pink Friday and PF:RR as albums, or just the singles? Have you heard all of The Reup? How much of a fan are you? Not trying to be funny, i'm just curious.

Is it impossible to have a classic rap album that also has pop influences? Kanye's MBDTF is so different from what would be typically considered a classic, but from his discography, that one is one of the best. I think Nicki knows what she's doing, and can pull off making a classic with pop in it.
