I wish she had done BDKMV with Kendrick and he had released the version he originally planned with her. Also, I would've loved Partynauseous to be released cause it sounded promising. Both would've probably gathered urban audience for her and she could've escaped the "gay icon" persona a bit and actually create some buzz while she was gone musically for ARTPOP.

This is why I really wanted an Urban flavoured Gaga album before with the era styled like the FAME perfume launch parties. The CLLG video snippet looked like a great way to style the videos.

Either way, desperate for a Kanye/Kendrick collaboration

Hopefully this will be her direction after Act II. Throw some Rubin and Darkchild in there

I barely even listen to Alejandro now but I think this is one of the first Gaga songs I ever heard before becoming a full stan. Of course I had heard most of The Fame when TFM came out but I had never been into her that much then TFM came out and even when it hadn't even been released as a single I was bopping.

It should have been the lead single. I like Applause and all and it did its job well, but the world was on fire when Aura leaked. It was exactly what she needed to affirm her return as the craziest pop star with the best chorus-writing capabilities. (Also a Telephone continuation video would have been a stark reminder of the Gaga everyone knew and loved)

Aura would've done a terrible job selling the album tbh, and the general public wouldn't be here for it and probably not radio either so it wouldn't have had the longevity Applause did. The album would be in a worse situation right now, believe it or not.
