When I was growing up, I loved to watch wrestling. I mostly only watched to see the divas (female wrestlers). My favorite divas were Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, Lita, and Candice Michelle.After all those ladies retired, my favorites was Michelle MCcool, Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres. After they left, I felt like the divas division was over. I mean I felt like WWE hired any woman to be a diva. It's really sad when you think about. If you look at some of the divas today, like AJ Lee, Cameron, Naomi, the girl with the red hair, they actually suck. It's so pathetic. How in the world did the WWE downgrade in divas like this? That is the main reason why I stopped watching wrestling. I'm sick of that mess.

WWE's PG rating is what killed the division, plus lack of character building and the fact half of them can't wrestle (See: Rosa Mendes & Eva Marie)

I feel the same way! I stopped watching after the whole Trish/Mickie/Ashley thing which was awesome!

Honestly, the divas were the only reason I kept watching WWE post-90s. Torrie Wilson is and will always be my favorite. I fell in love with her the day she premiered during the Invasion.

Torrie, Trish, Lita, Stacy, Victoria, Jacqueline, Stephanie (the queen was amazing) > all of the post-2006 girls.

I'm glad they got rid on the women's title. The division was already decaying and Kelly Kelly doesn't deserve to hold the same titled held by The Fabulous Moolah, Lita, Trish, Jazz etc.

Torrie Wilson is also 1 of my favorites. She was perfect, should've been the 1st to hold the Divas Title. DESERVED.

The division was fine when Eve was on her 3rd reign as the Divas Champion. The matches/storyline were fantastic.

new Divas are just..... mess.

Is the OP serious? AJ and Naomi far from suck. Naomi is one of the best female high flyers we've seen since Lita and AJ is one of the most well rounded divas since Trish especially when it comes to her mic work.

Part of the problem is fans like some of you in this thread who are so caught up in the past and are so quick to write these girls off just because they don't compare to that Lita/Trish era of girls. That was an iconic era no doubt about it but we can't sit here and constantly compare every era to that one.

We have some great girls right now who can go in the ring (Nattie, AJ, Naomi, Alicia, Layla) hell even the Bellas have shown major improvement. The problem we have now is creative isn't giving these girls storylines and character development. Not to mention the booking is just horrible, I mean use last night as an example. They put the divas match right after Undertaker's streak ended and the crowd was too pissed to care. Had they put the girls on eariler in the show I'm almost 100% positive the reaction would have been way better especially with all the cool spots they pulled off.

But I have faith in this current division, were in a better position than we were a couple years ago and I feel like these next couple years is gonna be the true test. We have a bunch of great girls down in NXT that also have me excited for the future.
