Yes The older generation doesn't have time for this crap.

It isn't just the older generations, it's basically everyone Windows 8 got dragged for the extra steps you had to take with that new start menu.

It might be okay for touchscreen devices, but it's an absolute hassle for normal laptops.

I still use Windows 7.

That not the point, the new start menu is just messy and unpractical , loaded with microsoft useless crapware, rutherfor having a startup menu in full screen is very intrusive and interruptive, completely covers all the desktop and window tasks

I use the old school windows interface, the classic theme in windows 7

I like things simple and minimalistic, for me its better for productivity, dont like interfaces with too much color, visual details and animations

Was the start up for 8 really that much of a hassle? I'm a touchscreen gurl so all it takes is a swipe and a password.

Touchscreening is for entertainment, and its much less efficient and precise than a laser mouse

Powerusers aint got time to be always cleaning the screen

My PC is only used for entertainment and the panels were perfect.
