So obviously everyone lies, however some more frequently and more seriously than others. What is one lie that you have never confessed to, that could do some serious damage if it got out? If you don't have any like that, then share your longest kept lie.

When I was in 3rd grade I broke my shoulder while I was waiting at the bus stop. I was playing on the icy road our town never plowed (we had a blizzard that year and the huge patches of ice were really fun to slide on). Well, my friend's mom (single) has had sex with her daughters boyfriend, and I only know about it because I'm friends with the daughter's boyfriend. I never promised her anything, but she's always wanted me to alert her if her boyfriend is being shady or talking to other girls, but how do you tell someone that it's their mom??

I needed a new pair of shoes once and so my nan took me to go pick some out. We couldn't find a pair that I really liked and I was about to go to my moms for the weekend so she gave me $150 to go buy a new pair. Of course, I spent the money on video games and didn't get the shoes I needed. When I got back my home my nan asked where my shoes were and I told her "my mom said she needed to borrow my money but would give it back one day", to which my nan rolled her eyes and then took me out to get a pair of shoes.
I'm so lucky she never confronted my mom about that.
