It's ironic that people use their personal preferences to validate attacking others for inflicting their personal preferences on others.
I also feel it says a lot when parents object to anyone saying anything that may challenge their own teaching. If what you're telling them is 'right and logical', why do you have to work so hard to sway them and why are you so concerned that the smallest comment will challenge it all? Mhmm.
