What? That's crazy.
Usually at the beginning of a class we get our assignment, for example 'make pages 100 til 118 before the beginning of the class next week' and then you get the whole hour to work on it and if you don't finish it then it becomes hw but that's it.

Lack of drive and laziness are real issues too.
I never cared if people think I am really smart. People opinions about me is their own business, not mine.

As I mentioned. I work on weekends. 9-5 on Saturday, and in the morning today.

If your students have the same work ethic as some of the girls in this thread, it shouldn't take too long to mark them all

Whatever sis, I would rather be grading papers than writing them.
I love dragging, shading and complimenting kids on their work.

It is, I've talked about it with my US and UK friends on here and they say they wish they had our system.
You're basically grouped with people who have the same career goal and learning abilities as you from age 14 onward.

Then maybe that's the problem. Honestly. Again, you do have a choice. After all, it's your life.

That still doesn't excuse saying that I lack drive or that I should do whatever with no pay because I apparently don't like school, when I've more than proven in my own life - to people who would know - that I have drive and succeed to an extent greater than the vast majority of my peers in my school, and it doesn't change the fact that high school students should be allowed social lives. You keep making assumptions about my skills, or my capabilities, or my drive, when you don't know how I work and you have no context in which to place any of this. The simple fact is that for me, it's either do your homework and get an A OR have a social life. There's no more techniques at my disposal to do things more quickly. There's nothing left for me to try to memorize things without wasting excess time because I already work at the most efficient rate I can and still have hours and hours and hours of work. I don't get where you're coming from at all. I have a choice, and I've already taken it - my issue is that the work is still too much, not that I'm sitting around not doing what I'm supposed to do for time management and workload reduction and that's why it's excessive.

My teachers give us our assignment the last five minutes, and then the bell rings, and we can't work on it in class, because they collect it or tell you to put it in the bin as soon as you walk in.

I think you will find that in most of life this triangle applies.

It's the bottom right that I'm currently missing out on the most and I do not like that.

My district must be really lax on homework, because I'm taking 6 AP courses and 2 college courses (dual enrollment) and I have minimal homework. In fact, at my school AP classes have less homework. It's always the regular level classes that get slammed with busy work.

The reason I am mentioning these is because I am trying to understand where your issue is coming from! After reading about your workload, its not it. It is reasonable enough. What about your time management?
No shade but this speaks volumes about where your time goes:
