And according to our inside source, it was Ciara - and not her label - who wanted the battle. The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "When Ciara heard that Beyonce was coming out in November - she voluntarily asked to have [Fantasy Ride] pushed back so she and Beyonce could go head to head."
