Granted, that basically what's happened now, but this wasn't the plan originally. I'm sure they plan(ned) on releasing waaaay more than 3 singles in the beginning

Am no.
Quality over quantity sis. Those three songs are the best she had to offer and she messed two up and is ignoring the other one

Tbh, more than half of the album is perfect for the "futuristic and revolutionary" theme Gaga seemed she wanted to do. It's just that a few of the songs, along with the visuals and imagery really make it seem super messy.
1. Aura
2. Venus
3. G.U.Y.
4. Sexxx Dreams
5. Do What U Want
6. ARTPOP
7. Fashion!
8. Mary Jane Holland
9. Dope
10. Gypsy
11. Applause
Not including some unreleased songs there (which I think would've made it better), I'm sure the album with that tracklisting would've gotten a 67-73 score on Metacritic. If it had the clean imagery of the Inez & Vinoodh photoshoot along with the original promo photo as the album cover, it probably would've sold more too.

That would be perfect tbh but that's just not Gaga

Wait, I forgot he was involved with The Edge of God.
+1 for Fernando.
But if you're wondering, no, I don't love DITD.

End era ASAP. Album is too horrible to milk it any longer.

I've suggested this as well.

Gaga has only had nice words to Interescope. Do you all really think they made her scrap a whole album?

DITD is so overrated. It is my least played track on TFM. The underrated Teeth is 100x better to me.

I wonder if Act II contains the smashes that got away (turned down by Interscope) on the first act.

GH is actually DJWS's magnum opus.

Its because all of that u are saying now, we already know and u have said it all before.

What do you mean?
If you mean that it would be lacking in personality, that's where the unreleased tracks come in. "Princess Die", "Ratchet", "PARTYNAUSEOUS", and "Brooklyn Nights" all would've made it even greater. Add in "Rage" and "Icon" (which we know nothing about, but have a lot of potential imo based on their titles), and the album would've been critically loved on the same level as Born This Way.

Well she called them broke and then threatened to retire. Then she storms the industry and replaces them with better people who are kind, wise, and talented in the GUY video
I think they wanted a bit more pop than more art, and considering ARTPOP is the album that got Gaga through her recent depression I guess she didn't care.
I can't believe she finds this album inspiring. She must be the only one

As fans we already have all the songs, so why would you want her to damage her own career?

Couldn't agree more. Monster > DITD, and would've been a better single as well. DITD is one of the only songs on TFM where the Madonna comparisons can be legitimate. I like the concept of the song, but...

I use MTN, but I didn't like it until it became a single. I ****ing love GH, so another +1. I like HML, but once again, overrated. The fact that some people actually thought it would smash a single
But that's just my ol' humble opinion. Do you, Versace

Not people believing ARTPOP isn't the album Gaga wanted to release. It is fully what she wanted and there's more apparently. She wrote the songs, sang them and presented them to Interscope, not the other way around. Lol.
