I can't believe this is the first thread for this single. In my opinion Animal and Everybody Talks are better, this single didn't do that well in my personal charts and it's struggling in the alternative charts though those charts are slow so who knows? I predict a top 20 peak, their lead singles usually do well. I hate how only one of their singles can smash each era, their label should spend more on promo for them. Also while their looks have changed, their music style has remained rather stagnant. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but they need to experiment with other genres at least once. Nothing urban but I feel like this band could use a few electronic rhythms.

I saw the other single thread got closed for lack of posting.. but now that this song is being played by pop stations more and more people are starting to know about it. Personally I was never into any of their previous works/singles but this song caught me the second I heard it on the radio. Now I can't get it out of my head!

I think you are talking about the Kaskade remix of that song, which was actually very good and even charted on the Hot 100 with Kaskade as the lead artist. The regular version sort of flirts with electronic rhythms but not too much.

I remember once there was a Neon Trees-AWOLNATION concert I wanted to go to. Off-topic but since AWOLNATION does electronic alternative pop there is a connection

I heard it on the radio yesterday and it's been stuck in my head all day, finally downloaded it. I've never really liked their singles before, but i might check for the album if the rest of the songs are as good as this

Their other 2 lead singles were definitely better but I like this one too. I downloaded it. I Am the DJ should've been a smash from Picture Show though.

I still have firm faith in this song, to at least become a decent top 20 hit.

It's been getting consistent decent radio updates as it ventures towards 50M AI. Also, it's been pretty stable in it's iTunes position amidst the top 35. The only thing it's kind of lacking in is streaming. But, Neon Trees have never been a huge streaming force.

Also, both "Animal" and "Everybody Talks" took about 16 weeks to start picking up the pace. So, "Sleeping With A Friend," who is only on week 8, still has a decent amount of time to prove itself.

I know I'm hoping that it is. It really should be a decent-sized hit, it's not those songs that you used to love until it got overplayed. It's actually enjoyable with every listen.
