Seeing as i was at the ripe, young age of four when the year started, there is realy not much I can say about the year. But, after some research, I cognized that this and 99 happen to be filled with outragingly popular songs and many of which have become sorta household or the best of and artist's career - Celine, Natalie, Aerosmith, goo goo dolls, Savage Garden (

)... However, not having heard MAriah Carey's "My All" I can't conclude that it was a poor year for her. Anyway, all I gotta say is: image children who are 4 years old right now listening to stuff like "4 Minutes" or "Bleeding Love" in a couple of years as a backbone to their musical preferences, or just being bored one day and listening to 08's hits and then making threads about it...I feel weird saying this but, its kinda fascinating. Also, I don't know why Candle in the Wind 1997 is crowned the 'All-Time Worldwide Best Track' or whatever, seeing as I have barely heard of the name of the song, let alone the song itself, but I suspect it was released after the death of Princess Diana (?)...anyhow, i am not going to force myself to listen to it, for I truly depise the little knighted fellow, Elton John (idk why tho) but i just wanted to clarify if it was released as a means of memorializing Diana.
