Okay... I'm not saying this because I'm probably going to get voted off this round, but I think that if we're going to vote people off, we should have to give reasons as to why we're voting the people off because I feel like some of the votes people are getting this round are just because the artist is not well-liked rather than the song choice itself. This should be judged more on the reasons we have given as to why it should be a single than whether or not people think it should be a single themselves, but most people are voting albums off based on whether or not they think the song would be good as a single just by listening to it.

I'm sorry for voting you off, I usually always love your choices. This time around, I just don't agree with the choice, and your essay didn't truly persuade me to see it as a single. Nothing personal.

Madonna (I don't see how this song would have turned things around for her that era when the autotune is really annoying and the chorus is nothing memorable. )

Close Call: Janelle Monae (The only place I see this song doing well is the Hip Hop/R&B charts. No one cares for Solange and the song just drags on) Avril (you should have gone with 17) & Britney (Passenger would have been a better choice).

It's fine, at least you have a reason. I wasn't targeting you or anyone that voted me off in particular. It's always bothered me when people vote off someone without a good reason, and it's not just me. I also don't get why Gotye is getting so many votes off because the Gotye songs were always good song choices with good essays to support them. There's no need for you to apologize, though. You had to vote people off and you didn't feel my song choice or essay was good enough. It's understandable. Things happen and at least you had a reason for voting me off.

Well, because it wasn't required. All I'm saying is that I think it should be required that there is some sort of reasoning behind it so people don't vote off albums just because they don't like them or they're opinionated. Yeah, but regardless, you'll probably make it further than me. It's a miracle I made it this far. I'm surprised you made it this far because you did an artist that wasn't really well-known and have gone really far with her, because when I went into this competition I thought that the votes would be judged based on the artist and whether or not they liked that particular artist. Some of them are, but the majority of the votes have reasoning behind them. Anyways... I wish you the best! Don't lose confidence! You'll probably make it further than me!
