Don't take it so personal, we're strictly enforcing the infringement rule. That was directions which came DIRECTLY from Joe, the site owner. He had enough with the complaints and threats of legal action against ATRL. Asking for a source, is not the responsibility of the staff when moderating threads. It is your responsibility as a poster, to ensure that when you thread something, you properly source and format it to the guidelines of the site in the beginning.
Threads can be reopened, if you send help requests with the source. We could attach the link to the original post and the thread can become active once again. However the penalty that comes with infraction, stays. Posting articles without citing the source is on "almost," but not quite, on the same level as file sharing.
