I didn't know World Vision was a religious charity

Me too! BUT I get that they are a Christian organization but even on their site it claims “[They]seek justice and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God.”

I honestly cant though at the Christians who dropped their sponsorship over world vision allowing gay workers

This is why work, politics, personal lives and religion should all be SEPARATE entities. How does a guy taking dick in his bussy change the fact that he wants to help feed starving children?

A huge chunk of the money made from these organisations goes to worker and religions anyway so i'd rather fly over to Cambodia and build a hut myself. At least then i'd know that the money is going straight to the cause.

That's so dumb, these kids are hating on us and deserve our help. Don't affect them because of a few closet cases.

I'll DEFINITELY be donating in the future to the same causes. BUT, I won't be doing it with an organisation that can't put trivial things such as sexual orientation behind them for the greater good of the less fortunate.

The church can stay mad

They support over 1 million people, their organisation is far greater than any other charity, sure your gesture to another charity could help someone but the likelihood is that at WV your money would go further.

There are PLENTY of other charities I could support that will send my money directly to the source. I choose not to support sheep-ish people that are more concerned with a volunteer's personal life rather than millions of children. I'm in shock that the church can't put differences behind them for the greater good of the charity.

The timing couldn't be better

Give to Doctors Without Borders or any other non-religious organization, we shouldn't rely too much on charities like these which often times put their fairytale beliefs over the objective well-being of the people they are intended to give aid to.

This is something the religious organizations should be concerned about, not us. I'm damn sure not going to continue funding an organization that blatantly discriminates against my people. If it leads to a lack of people donating, that's the organization in question's problem, they should be more inclusive. If there were no other alternatives I'd be inclined to agree with you, but that's not the case; there are countless secular organizations which won't discriminate against workers based on a book of nonsense beliefs, whose causes we can aid with our donations.
