The controller must provide some extra support for games that don't have controller support, I'm pretty sure Minecraft Pocket Edition doesn't have native controller support just yet outside of stuff like the Xperia's buttons.

Unless I am completely going about it wrong trying to get my controller to work with it aha.

A lot of the games have been re-configured for Kindle Fire already, so it wouldn't surprise me if they reconfigured it for the Fire TV as well.



It says it requires the controller, so the games must be deigned for the Fire TV.

Oh cool. I'm not really an Amazon person though and not ready for an Android box yet.

I actually was given the Apple TV for Christmas, and it's absolute shyte.
It's literally slow, laggy and can't even do what it says on the box.

Apple TV can be great if you track down the model from 2010 and jailbreak it. The one they're selling now is utterly useless

I'll just correct one thing, there are full scale games coming to it as well. EA, Disney and a few others have already confirmed they are working on games.
