With Iggy Azalea and Keyshia Cole's new "I'm Coming Out" record premiering this week, SOHH hit up co-producer Reefa to learn more about how the anthem came together.
Reefa revealed he teamed with music mogul Irv Gotti to put together the thumping track.
"It's a real record and it's from The Other Woman movie that's coming out this April," Reefa told SOHH. "It's a good record. I love the record. Keyshia Cole and Iggy killed it. It was produced by me and Irv [Gotti]. We're just moving and keeping it moving. Irv put [the snippet] on Instagram and I put it on Instagram. A few people put it up and then it spread everywhere. I did the Iggy verse and Irv did the hook, how it went, so that's how it kind of spread virally." (SOHH)
The music producer also gave props to Gotti for getting Keyshia and Iggy together.
"The Iggy and Keyshia situation really came about from Irv," Reefa added. "Irv loved the song and got that record going. Me, Irv and Chris [Gotti], I've known those guys for a while. Chris has been managing me now for the last year and half to two years. We've been building my production company and just hope for the best." (SOHH)
This week, Iggy said the original plan was to remake music icon Diana Ross' "I'm Coming Out" hit.
