But first! I, along with a lot of others, have a longstanding love affair with girl groups. I kind of like the fact that there can be so many combinations (unison, vocal harmony, definitive leads vs. shared vocals) and so many combinations (in terms of lineups.) I love the instability of a girl group; how years later, you find out that they all hated each other!! I wanted to start with the UK, because I feel for two periods (the 80s and the 00s) they really, almost surprisingly, embarrassed the US in terms of quality of output. Spice Girls will conquer the top ten so does Girls Aloud.. Sugababes also will have at least 1 or 2 songs in the top ten. The Saturdays will conquer the last six spots
