I mean Ashley Tisdale got paid more for HSM 3 than Vanessa did I'm pretty certain and Vanessa has always been more famous than Ashley. So I guess it really should come down to which character is simply more important.
There's no way this show is getting a second season, the ratings aren't anything impressive, Ariana needs to focus on her singing career, and now this Jennette thing.
Well this is how it works. Ariana is more famous and more in demand, if Nick doesn't pay her good money she'll be gone to work somewhere else. It's not like the girl from iCarly is that in demand... Or am I wrong?

um? no she isn't, Ashley Tisdale was in HSM and Suite Life, two things she was most well known and popular for. Vanessa's ONLY real well known project was HSM therefore Ashley got paid more because she has a higher profile.
And is that supposed to make it right? They're both stars of the show, its not like its Ariana's show and Jennette is a recurring character. No. They're both the stars so they both should get the same amount of money.
whether it's right or wrong doesn't denounce the fact that if you're more well known you get paid more to do things because people definitely want you. this is how the industry works
