Very different, yet vaguely similar. Some parts of the world i.e Uganda, people are KILLED because they are gay. Many people are oppressed because they are gay, all over the planet.

Anyways you can't really compare it they are two different types of complex discrimination. Since I am both a minority and bi, I have personally faced more racism in my life. Whereas I remember talking to someone else who also fit both criteria's and said they faced more homophobia than racism.

Racism for sure.

It's the same ballgame, but speaking from a historical standpoint I would say racism is much worse yet. It can ignite severe opposition and war like nothing else in the world when a country or society, consciously or not, collectively uses it to do so. Homophobia in itself doesn't hold the same potency.
