I agree Bey tour was huge and her popularity increased. Katy is also having increased success but I feel like her album will start stalling soon unless she does a re release.

R8 will definitely be a crossroads for Rih she can either catapult to the next level or stay stagnant and watch the other girls come for or snatch her wig.

I don't give a **** if her weave is snatched by generic pop **** unless and until she delivers a cohesive quality album . As much as i enjoy number 1 single, a good quality album stay in your heart forever . Even though rated r failed to sell, not only navy but other stan bases drag people if they insult rated r

Taylor has become a lot more global this era, before RED I never heard anything about her, now even her country singles are getting lots of airplay here (and Europe doesn't even use country).

Bey will always be a step ahead of Rih but that's normal I mean she's had double the experience and time in the business, it'd be weird if they were on the same level already.

The one I'm worried about is Katy tho, PRISM is shaping up to be a Teenage Dream 2.0, without the 5 #1's but still, a lot of #1's.
She's literally coming for Rih in every aspect, even her album sales are pretty good.

Honestly by the time Rihanna releases again there probably won't be much of the current pop girls releasing...
Taylor and Adele seen to be gearing up for a Fall release
Katy will drag this era out until early 2015 and then keep it quiet till like 2016
Beyonce will probably having something simliar to Katy
Lady GaGa well she has her 2nd volume but then after that she will probably tour in 2015 again and won't be talk about much.

Rihanna seem to be winning all over her awards for iHeart Radio awards expect collaborating which surprisingly Kesha and Pitbull are winning by 3% but Rihanna probably won't even attend.

I'm looking at the big scheme of things tho, not R8 vs other albums, but I think she has to elevate herself to a higher level.

I never understood why people hype Teenage Dream up.

- Outside of the 5 number 1's. The only reason she matched or passed LOUD sales was because of the re release. She dragged that era out for 2 years.

When Rih dragged GGGB out she was able to pull in 8.5M WW

I think Prisim will stall in the 4M WW and she get another number 1 but thats it.

& I agree with Mikey by the time Rih does release the other girls will be ending their eras or on their breaks. Rih is in a good position right now by waiting until 2015

Lately i have been listening to MOTS/AGLM but i'm tired of pop music in general, everytime i try to listen to someone, i listen to a song or two and i just quit i feel like i need to throw up

That's what I was kinda trying to say.
Commercially speaking this will probably be the first time in her career where she will have the spotlight for herself for a long period of time. Rihanna has always shared the spotlight tbh.
Now that the main girl will be on break hopefully this will most likely permit Rihanna to propel her brand to higher levels.

Critically speaking well we can't do any predictions on that.

some of you get too caught up in the number games and weave snatching plots . I don't care in which cycle she releases her music or any other girl is releasing at the same time . If it's good people will take it and make it a hit
