I see where you're coming from, but let's be clear - to equate gender attraction with racial attraction is nothing more than scrambling for a defence regardless of how illogical it may sound. Like you, I haven't said whether or not it makes someone racist. The area's far too grey to give a definite answer, but what we can do is dissect why people think the way they do.
I agree that someone made a point that you hadn't thought about before, and it's a good thing you didn't, because it lacks a substantial train of thought. It's an easy answer with little thought behind it.
Interesting that you'd disagree with the bolded. Would you like to go into the theories about instinct and genetic variance? Because I don't. It'd also be worth saying that race is a social construct, so that'd be two things against you.
Would you argue that people not being attracted to members of their own ethnicity is within their nature, and not entirely influenced by external factors?
