Could Mariah Carey return to her glorious days with new LP?
We know that recently Mariah has flopped hard worldwide (except for #Beautiful, last summer)...why is she no longer relevant in the world of Pop music? Could she catch another #1 hit worldwide, like TEOM Era back in 2005, which set her return after many years of flop. She has a beautiful voice, she should not have this treatment...what do you think?
I wouldn't write her off completely, but I don't think so. It takes a lot of determination and a whole lot of talent to come back from a long time period of failure and irrelevance and I'm not sure she has either of them right now.
I stan for 90's Mariah though, so I'm always rooting for a good comeback from her. She's one of the best to ever do it
Mariah could if she actually acts her age and matures her music. Her putting out dated mess like You're Mine and acting like she's "Eternally 12" won't get her anywhere. As far as this era is concerned, its already dead tbh. It comes out in a month yet there is no buzz, the music is a turnoff and there's not even a title for it. So no this era will definately be her worst selling but maybe this will be a wake up call for her next time around. She's still a legend with nothing to prove nonetheless.
I just think she's past her prime. She had control over the 90's and early 2000's but she's going on 45 and after a certain age, it gets harder for the public to love you the way they did when you were younger
