Yes. "She" always wrote the most generous and friendly articles for Gaga and then trash Madonna in the most SCATHING articles. It's pretty clear who "she" really is.

The thing we have to remember is that - subjectivity aside on her actual output - a lot of people want Gaga to fail right now. It's entertaining. Even if they don't hate her, they enjoy the drama surrounding a downfall - it's more interesting than reporting/discussing 'more of the same' success. It's also on trend, because for the past few years people have rejected a lot of what made Gaga a phenomenon (theatrics, stunts, dance, costumes etc.) in favour of the likes of Adele, Lorde, Taylor, Imagine Dragons, Macklemore etc etc. Whilst Miley did stunts - she didn't do the rest, whilst Katy does costumes - she doesn't do the rest, whilst Ellie does dance - she doesn't do the rest, etc etc. Gaga is still trying to push the same formula, and she doesn't have the get-out-of-jail-free-card that they do because she isn't "hot".

And it's not even like "the GP" feel this way - they don't care enough about popstars to commit strong opinions/bias/grudges. They buy what they're told to. Both with music and with celebrities. If radios were spinning her music to ****, they'd be buying it. If media publications weren't being negative toward her, they'd be liking her. That said, there's also a degree of supply and demand. Media in particular posts Gaga content because they know people will read it and pander (hence why they praised her, cover her stunts and now post provocative negativity).

People can debate her creativity and quality, but considering the utter crap the "GP" (and people on here) love, we know that isn't much of a deal breaker. People can also debate her success as a reason to throw her under the bus, but lets not pretend like everyone has ignored the flopping (to a higher degree) of other pop girls.



TL;DR,

My point is that this is way more of a PR issue and career phase than it's a "Gaga is crap now". She has to ride it out and be smart/strategic with how she does it. People will welcome her back when they get bored of dragging and want her to be back again. They don't want her to come back yet. If they did, they'd give her WAY more of a chance.

tho I agree with most of what you wrote people will still not accept a comeback from her if she comes back with the same formula (costumes, heavy productions, desperate stunts, etc)

Because guess what: you're fading at life Gaga isn't living her life to please the critics, she's pleasing herself and her true fans. So jump ship now, don't come running back. You're unneeded
