I'm getting annoyed by people saying "show me receipts" when getting into an argument. And words like "Yas" have been picking up steam. This isn't cute, this needs to stay home when no one can hear it.

It's not ATRL lingo, it's drag queen lingo. A lot of people are watching Drag Race now, stan culture has spread it throughout tumblr/twitter/etc., even Wendy Williams uses it. So it's not surprising if you're hearing it.

It's mostly homosexual lingo. ATRL adopted it and added some extra words to it. Show me the receipts was made iconic by Whitney Houston and she probably never knew what ATRL was. Actually most of the lingo comes from black ladies, black and latino homosexuals.
