They are syrians hiding in lebanon because of the civil war and come from a low scial class, and apparently he hasn't seen his mother (divorced from his father) in 7 years. She says she was beaten by them and he sides his father and all.
Both insulted each throughout the show though but the kid was a lot more agressive obviously as you can see here, and right after he kicked her she said she would kill her son with a knife
She was saying that his father attacked her in court but her son interrupted her & said he's the one who attacked her then she started mocking his father.
