Lindsay Lohan has claimed that she was in line for a role in The Avengers.
Lohan reportedly complained that her manager failed to push hard enough at the audition process, which led to "an unknown" being cast in her place.
Although she does not name the part or the actress, many have speculated that she is referring to Cobie Smulders, who played SHIELD agent Maria Hill. (source)
