I can say why I don't like a whole gender. I'm not attracted to vaginas. As a gay male, I'm biologically predisposed to that. It's not the same case with a whole race seeing as race a social construction that doesn't even actually exist.

it's not so easy for other people to describe reasons for their feelings or attractions. if you have a clear idea of why then that's fine and dandy, but you don't speak for everyone else. some people just don't feel attracted to girls, not for a clear reason like they don't like vaginas, they just don't feel it there. it's the same case for race. what you're essentially saying is that "feelings" are invalid if they don't give you any reason to satisfy your curiosity. what they feel has nothing to do with you, and demanding it like it's some end all be all is not only insensitive but it's also ignorant. who said anyone had to prove anything? live your own life and don't try to make people out as pariahs for having different preferences and levels of attraction yeesh.

Not necessarily, but I find it difficult to imagine one couldn't possibly be attracted to a single person of any one race. There's guys of all races I've found attractive - I find it to be based more on their personal features rather than any that are correlated with race, so to say race is necessarily a limiting factor in anyone's dating preferences seems sketchy to me. Perhaps there are people who legitimately are never ever attracted to a given race, but that's probably due to outside society influencing them more than anything.

If you are not attracted to a certain group, there is a reason why and I STRONGLY doubt its validity.

You see how someone can have that taste with physical features, and still think they're attractive? Same applies with skin color, a physical feature.

I think anytime you make a blanket statement about a racial minority even if it's just a preference calls into play some kind of racial bias - especially if you're a white person

I don't bother asking why because 8 times out 10 it is ingrained in their minds. With that time being spent on them it could go for finding someone else.
With that said over time some guys can change their views of attraction.
I have seen some guys say that after they got a little older they opened their dating pool.
Still this is not really the point most here are trying to make it's not about being offended for being found unattractive per say.

I agree with this though, like if you're not attracted to a race or find an attraction there that's fine but either find a right way to word it or don't bring it up cause it's gonna sound bad if you admit
