Hmm looking at the winners for the awards I have one small rant. Kobe shouldn't have won male athlete of the year, LeBron James should have. LeBron and the Cavs nearly beat the Celtics with a smaller supporting cast. Kobe and the Lakers got thrashed by the Celtics in 6. Not only could Kobe and his Lakers not get a win in Boston but they couldn't protect their homecourt either as they blew a 24 point lead in Game 4 to give away to the Celtics. Kobe doesn't deserve **** I'm with Shaq on this one, "**** Kobe" lol. Like Shaq said "Kobe ****** tell me how my ass tastes." LOL Shaq killed him last night

I loved the entire Alicia Keys performance. I have and will always love TLC. That was the highlight for me! I was singing as loud as the audience.

i can't believe i'm saying this but yall need to stop hating on rihanna. it's not her fault. it's her first time...next time she'll bring the energy. i believe a person can do a ballad but you have to bring theatrics with it. that performance would be good for mtv but at bet everybody brings their A game.

Overall, I loved this show, but it could have been so much better. I mean Beyonce and Lil Wayne should have performed with Usher, because his performance by himself was average. Rihanna should have performed Disturbia instead of Take A Bow, because Take A Bow is actually boring live.

Missy should have been there to perform with Keyshia and Lil Kim, and finally Lil Wayne's performance should have longer. Overall, it was a very good show with Alicia and TLC, but those other girl groups and Al Green who I don't know who they are at all I skipped. I give it an 87%.

Overall I think it was a great show!!

Not as good as last year of course, when my #1 woman Beyonce performed, but oh well.

Keyshia Cole was great, looked good and had a fun time with Lil' Kim. Ne-Yo KILLED IT with Closer, one of the best performances of the night. Allicia Keys did tha dang thang!! LOVED IT!! Nice to see the 90s female groups come out and sing their signature songs... TLC, EnVouge, SWV!

I also enjoyed Usher's performance, even though he lipsynched. I was mad there was no Beyonce though!!

Those rumours were lies, alll lies!!!

Now after Lil Wayne's performance I am lovin' "A Milli"... that song is my JAM!!

I hated how BET did Keyshia Cole for her performance. It really seemed like Lil Kim was suppose to come out eariler than she did in the performance. Also, it seemed like Keyshia was looking around for Missy to come out also. I also think she should have won one of her awards. But, she still did good last night.

Usher's performance was alright, he was just lifeless and didn't bring it to life otherwise everything else was good.

Ne-Yo surprised the hell outta me, he had the best male performance. He worked hard on that choreo. LOL

Ciara proved to me she just might be the next Janet, all she need is the perfect material.... her dancing was flawless. Ciara made Nelly's & Chris Brown's performances. Chris Brown still can't sing worth a damn but I'll at least say he can dance. I'm still waiting for Omarion & Ciara to do a dance off, now that will be SICK.

@ Rihanna & Keyshia, no comment.... we all know they can't sing worth a damn live

The Al Green tribute was really good, I usually hate Anthony Hamilton but he nailed his song. But I was too thrilled to see MAXWELL, that is my boy. PLEASE let him put out another masterpiece like Urban Hang Suite this year. Soul music NEEDS it.

Now onto the performance of the night for me..... Alicia Keys salute to girl groups. Alicia bored me at first and she looked a mess BUT once I saw EN' VOGUE, I was like she definitely ******* on everybody. **** T Boz sounded a raspy ass mess and Coko singing like Keyshia Cole all OFF KEY & LOUD. Cindy came out on point and killed the vocals, she even did the scat at the end of Hold On. Did yall see En' Vogue's timeless choreo and beautiful harmonies? OMG no girl group can compare to the funky divas!!! I really hope they put out a new album while Dawn is still there. LOL @ BET replaying when they came out in their commercials and NOT TLC or SWV.

I think Keyshiacan sing LIVE but something went terribly wrong with that performance. Timing, vocals, dancing was terrible. :-/

Rihanna performed the boring TAB with Xbrown sang along in the audience seat. When he took that stage, he sucked like hell. What a couple! (sorry Adrian, TAB sucks even when i listen to the studio version!)
TLC voice is no more good. Alicia is still very natural and "high" and artistic (as usual).
And Jennifer Hudson "Spotlight" video premiere. I don't like the video, but love the song.
