I don't know how much I'd want to say about the film, because I feel it's one of those films that you REALLY should not know too much about before you see it. I mean, you should know that it has three distinct parts: The prelude and buildup, the actual bombing, and the aftermath. The prelude makes you feel uneasy, the bombing pulls no punches and makes everyone vulnerable to its effects (just as it would in real life), and the aftermath...well, I'll say two things: It's the real focal point of the film, and it's what makes this film notorious for being such a depressing and disturbing film. It's just horrific scene after horrific scene, and there's nothing coming that will make you feel any better, not even an inkling of hope. That's why I said that it's not recommended for anyone who wants to have a happy day, because it will ruin your day within two hours.
