One of my twitter friends once tweeted a link to a God/Jesus/Moses fanfic and we all read it and had a good laugh.

Ngl, with Teen Wolf it's because it's better written than the actual show half the time. I'm convinced Jeff has stolen from fan fiction too.

In general, fan fiction is just really intriguing because of its "what if" premise and how that allows it to explore things that would never be done on the show, or television (or whatever media/platform/etc. it is based around) in general.
