!! That's such a sketchy idea.

My sister kept hers in her wallet for some reason, and she lost it while she was 5 hours away at school. She lost her license AND her SS card (and her birth certificate was at home). When she tried to get a new license and SS card, it was really difficult because you need your SS or birth certificate to get a copy of your license, but you need your license or birth certificate to get a copy of your SS card

And then of course she had to get all sorts of identity-theft alerts set up because someone could've found her SS card.
