People think Happily would be a good single choice, but seriously the chorus is such a turn off for MANY people including me. I really don't get the hype of that song, it gives me a headache and I feel like a good majority of people only like it cause Harry wrote it.

I don't agree at all. Maybe you don't like it, but don't project your dislike onto others. It is one of the most universally liked tracks on the album.

It is meaningless anecdotal evidence. I think you VASTLY overestimate how much people are aware of who wrote which song.

Harry wrote other songs as well. You don't see them doing the same for those song. Chances are they liked the song FIRST. Well before they knew Harry wrote it. Then just use the fact that Harry wrote it as a way to stan.
