Beyoncé is the Girl Power ICON.
ATRL can seethe all it wants. Beyoncé will be remembered as a Feminist ICON.
The rest of the article was cute. I guess they didn't have much to work with, but they should have mentioned Madonna, Josephine Baker and Janet.

How are people going to say these girls aren't feminist icons for a GIRL who cited them with reasons on why THEY represent girl power to HER?
These are her ideas of girl power and she was spot on. You can't tell someone their wrong for feeling inspired by something you don't like.

She clearly said the list was about girls from HER childhood. She didn't grow up with those people.
Just read.
