Have you ever gotten a detention in High School? If so, what was it for?

I made a rude comment to another student and the teacher heard it. It wasn't even that harsh

This one is stupid, but I never got one for it thankfully: A teacher saw me outside with a t shirt on in the winter, and said she would give me a detention after break, so I talked to someone at the school and they handled it and talked to the teacher so everything was al good.

Only one time and it was for being late.

Once in 5th grade for talking during a standardized test

Once for missing a single homework assignment unrelated to any sort of project.

i've had 5 because if you get kicked out of class you get a referral which is 5 detentions

I got lunch detention for a week because I went to my 4th period late religiously.
I got lunch detention for 2 days for ditching.
And I got lunch detention for a month for driving off campus with my friends at lunch (currently serving my time on this one.)

Detentions are so stupid, especially when you've done nothing remotely wrong

I forgot my vocab book to class three times, so I had to vacuum the middle school hallway(which had more glitter than a kesha party) for an hour.

Never. I do have to go to Saturday school however for missing too many classes last year.

Yes I once got a detention for feeding the school animals with plants because that counted as "harming" them.

Sophomore year was when I talked back to my cranky asshole English teacher. I barely said two words to him and he sent me to detention for the next two periods

So, like me and a few students were staying back for test prep in middle school and this girl sitting in front of me started peeing on herself and didn't even say anything So i moved to the seat beside mine because I didn't want to get this NASTY girl's broth like urine all over my new DCs So, the teacher walks past and sees it and looks around and go "WHO SPILLED THIS JUICE?!" and she acted so dumb founded like she didn't know what was happening and just left the room and he started to smell it and saw the stains on her UGLY ASS BASIC JOGGING PANTS.

So, the next day she was TRYING it and tried to come for me and this other girl and I was like "Oh really, Judi? Weren't you the one who peed on the floor yesterday in test prep? HUH? Nasty diseased piss having bitch." Then I got detention because I Used profanity

No, I got out of it by having sexual relations with my teachers.

Wait can you really have to do labor like vacuuming for detention? Sitting in a classroom for an hour is one thing, but as soon as a teacher starts making me do chores I'd be like **** outta here hoe
