It's funny how all their "reasons" to ban gay marriage are their beliefs and what they think is "right." Disgusting tbh. I don't care what the imaginary man in the sky makes you believe that's not a reason why two people that love each other can't get married
A lot of them are flat out lies, and a lot are very misguided. Believe what you want to believe as far as religion - at this point in my life when I'm still searching for that belief I have no right to criticize anyone else's - but never, ever apply it to the legal system that governs millions of people with different beliefs. It is wrong to impose your own religious views on total strangers - would you ever want them to do the same to you?
And the man claiming it's not a secular issue really should do his research before writing.

All these reasons aren't really seperate, they all kind of overlap.
I don't really like organized religion. People can be spiritual and have a connection with God, but these rigid set of beliefs that limit their mindset is really perturbing.
What annoys me about this whole debate is that they keep bringing it back to religion and how Christ says marriage should be between a man and a woman. The selective attention towards certain parts of the bible is so ignorant.. The bible also says you should stone a woman to death on her family's doorstep is she has had sex before marriage. Where is the focus towards that?
Because this is one thing they can preach for something they arent guilty for.
You dont see them banning All you can eat buffets because Im pretty sure gluttony is a no-no
