I think it is very likely but it is also very likely that Hillary will win in 2016 unless the Republican party can find a young, fresh face that is not conservative socially - only fiscally. I doubt the few at the top of the party would let that happen. They wouldn't even let McCain run the moderate election he wanted.

Yeah. I don't think he is too bad either - I didn't really have a problem with Chris Christie until this latest scandal too. It's just that at this point, the social structure of the Republican core needs to change and adapt to the current climate. Letting go of issues like abortion and gay marriage is crucial to survival. Not that it is my biggest issue, though it is my most personal, I would like to see a steady economy first. I just happen to think that gay marriage can help with taxes and give the government more money. Win/win.

but a lot of people in real life agree with these policies, libertarians believe in marriage equality, legalization of marijuana, but smaller government and not government taking control over everything cuz we can see the obama administration isn't doing a good job.

i totally agree with you i am from new jersey and voted for christie, i still like him i think it will pass over and move on. i think he still has a good chance. we all know the clintons had more scandals than this in the past lol.
