The final guest judge of the season, but certainly not the least.
Welcome! First of all, I'd like to congratulate the remaining contestants for making it this far. You're all winners in my eyes. Anyways, after placing first in this round last season, I felt like it was right to guest judge this round. There are a couple twists this round, and I'm excited to see how this will all turn out. Also, all of you better bring your A-Game as this will be the round that determines who will be in the finale. Good luck!
A T R L ' s H O L Y T R I N I T Y
Hello, all! This round will be focused on music artists (the number you chose previously decided
your assignment, which you can find below). Being able to effectively analyze and configure trinities
based on an artist and their diverse discography is a very crucial skill to have, especially on a site like
ATRL - the more you know, the better, and the less evident are stan wars built out of blind hatred
T I P S
▲ What makes your artist different from other artists? Avoid choosing songs anyone could sing.
▲ If you're unfamiliar with your artist, don't worry - teach yourself, do a bit of research!
▲ The best kind of presentation for this round would be one that doubles as a trinity and a bio of sorts - use your trinity to introduce the artist to someone who hasn't been exposed to their discography.
Before we get to the big reveal and your assignments for this round...
!!! TWIST !!! This round will run very, very differently from previous rounds.
The Golden Trinity will not decide to eliminate.
Each trinity will still be ranked by judges for averages, however, and a Golden Trinity will still
be assigned... but since there are only 5 players, a Flop Trinity will not exist...
The elimination this round will be decided by previous players who have been eliminated.
Votes will go on within the thread and the decision will be made. However...
The Golden Trinity can veto this action. Whoever is remaining in the Golden Trinity has
a very special power this round that will be a big, big game changer...
The Golden Trinity this round will bring someone back from the dead.
This person will either be the one who previous players decided to sacrifice or a completely
different player, one who has been eliminated previously in this round.
I will invite the cast back into the thread formally when all of the entries are in.
EXAMPLE
Xtina Trinity
Christina Maria Aguilera, born December 18, 1980, has always been passionate about music throughout her life. She appeared in the Mickey Mouse Club in 1993 alongside other future stars like Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling. After the show was cancelled, Christina sent in a demo to Disney who were looking for someone to sing Reflection from Mulan. This demo caught the attention of Ron Fair, who later signed Christina to RCA. Christina released her first studio album in 1999 with her debut teen-pop album Christina Aguilera. Over the span of thirteen years, Christina has managed to produce seven albums, all different from the rest. From the electronic, ahead of its time, Bionic, to the 1920s-40s soul and blues influenced Back to Basics, it's no doubt Christina has a diverse discography. In my trinity, I will show three different sides of Christina to reflect her diverse discography.
the dirrty girl
In an attempt to breakaway from her teenybopper image, Christina released the controversial Dirrty. The video, described to be a post-apocalyptic orgy, featured Xtina's new shocking image. This song represented Christina taking over her career. During her debut era, she was merely a label puppet, but with Dirrty and the rest of the Stripped era, she took creative control. Though Xtina's new image received very negative reception from the public, it was still a vital point in Christina's career, because as already stated, this represented her taking control.
baby jane
Christina later dropped her Xtina alter ego and replaced it with her new one, Baby Jane, for her new era, Back to Basics. While recording the album, Christina was considerably in a happier place than she was in when recording Stripped. Her marriage with Jordan Bratman inspired multiple tracks on Back to Basics, including Ain't No Other Man.The first single off Back to Basics was considerably different from the material on Stripped. Ain't No Other Man had an old-school vibe with a modern twist and showed Christina maturing.
the balladeer
Christina is also well known for her ballads, which showcases her stunning voice. While Beautiful is Christina's most well known, I didn't choose it because I felt it was too obvious of a choice, and I felt selecting two songs from Stripped was too much. Instead, I selected Little Dreamer from Bionic. Though Christina has had tons of ballads, such as Beautiful, I selected Little Dreamer because, as I said in the beginning, I wanted this trinity to reflect her diversity. In this electronic ballad, Christina sings about a lost loved one.

!!! TWIST #2 !!!
If you really, really, really can not handle the artist you've been assigned, PM me (Luigi).
I will provide you with a different random artist of my choice...
The catch is that you can not go back to your original artist assignment. So decide wisely!
Entries are due to collin, via PM, by Thursday April 3rd at 5PM EST!
That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, typical ignorant comment about Kesha.
She has a very, very diverse discography if you actually pay any attention.
There's so much more to her music than the horrendous singles she's forced to put out.
Do your research, sister! That or you can submit for a new artist. However,
I included Kesha for a reason. She is diverse, there are a lot, I mean a LOT, of options for her.
But the whole point of this round is to be knowledgeable about artists and their variety.
You ain't off to a good start, miss! Step it up!
After lurking on this game for a while now, I so want back in, especially for the finale
Also, Musickid, there are a few K$ songs that you can definitely use from all her albums/EPs that would make a great trinity, and I'm not even a K$ stan, but anyways, good luck!
I know I sound biased because I'm a Kesha fan, but that's really not what's going on here.
I would fully stand behind any artist I decided to include in the round. I purposefully strayed from artists
that are more one-trick-pony, like Lana Del Rey or Adele. Every artist I included has a diverse catalog to work with.
Sure, some are more diverse than others, but That's the point of the challenge, to be a challenge!
