This post is so vague. You're not even specific about what type of animation you're referring to. If not for animated series, graphic novels, and comics, there would be no live action superhero movies. You can't possibly hate all animation and think that all live action films are superior. Do you really think The Simpsons would be better without animation? Do you really think most people would agree that the Last Airbender live action movie was better than the cartoon? These aren't the days of hand drawn animation. Most weekly animated series manage to churn out 12-26 episodes a year, matching the season lengths of live-action network tv series.
