It wasn't even a date I just played basketball with him and a friend we have in common but then we stopped and spoke for a bit and then he went to meet his cousin and came back and didn't seem bothered by me so I don't really know. He played football after that but I went to town with my best friend to look for Mother's Day gifts.
That's the first time I've met a guy like that and the first new person I've met sober in way over a year so I guess I just got nervous and cold feet or something.
