Picture you are the writer of a massive Soap Opera. You have got to write a brand new script for a new episode, what would be the next new story line? Think of ones from like Desperate Housewives! I mean a great story line like you want to know who your real dad is, but your mum is blocking off every little detail about him, then you find something and it all goes up **** creek. Some great story lines have come from the UK too like, in Coronation Street, many years ago a new man entered into of the famous families on the street, but he has killed one of the other characters previous by bursting her skull on a pavement, then buries her. He also previously killed his ex-wife by hitting her head with a hammer, and she falls into the grave were he was about to bury the previous woman. He is taken into the family, and becoms psycho when he takes the family on a trip straight into a canal, were he later dies. Think of your story line very wisely ?

the story with Dillen & Catherine in DH was amazing along with Richard hillman in Corrie.but i could never come up with anything like that lol.but id love for a soap to do a storyline where a girl of about 14 gets kidnapped,and it turns out the kidnapper is her creepy spyco path father.then her send video tapes to the media demmanding money.lol

a fat man goes on a business trip to toby, a remote south pacific island with 22 remaining inhabitants that speak the endangered language tobian. the land area of this island is lessening due to global warming. they feed the fat man very well throughout the 3 week business trip and in that time the polar ice caps are like BITCH IMMA MELT and 1/16th of them melt and the place where the airplane hangar was and where the plane landed is sunken underwater. they are to take a custom-made tobian banana boat made of real bananas and real wood and real rocks but he is too fat to board the boat because he won't fit and getting a custom boat made would be way too expensive and would cost at least 3 shiny rocks, the tobian currency, and fat man does not have that kind of money considering the currency exchange man was sleeping in the airplane when it sunk. nobody else knows the exchange rates and so now he has 2 days to lose weight or else he will never see his pet rabbit mushi and his son mushi jr again!

Yeah I can't really get into Hollyoaks, I used to be a HUGE mega fan, but now it's too much of an effort for me to watch it, I miss Paul Danan

A desperate girl looking for a way to show her family that she truly belongs, so she decides to do something to make them proud, she tries out for her school's cheerleading team, but it turns out that she gets beat for the final spot by her ex-boyfriend. It turns into the girl turning to softball, which she makes and she makes the team go #1.

Her brother is kind of a jock, but he likes this girl, and she's not the most popular, but she's good looking. The girl he likes turns out to have AIDS and so he still likes her, but they have to be careful.

The mother is sleeping around behing the husband's back with her son's best friend, who is dating the daughter's best friend.

The father is an egotistical man who wants everything and he's kind of mean, but he still wants to be the best father and husband. He has to go to France for a few weeks for a job, so the grandfather comes and stays with the family and he's hilarious and outrageous (like he's a a comedian and he walks around in his underwear, the hilarious one of the show).

More Twists:
* a car crash
* a robbery
* the mother getting caught cheating by her daughter, but she's sworn not to tell

So much Drama I like the idea of the outrageous character But I've been coming up for stuff all night, and made over 50 characters for a soap television show just like the ones in the UK were there at least 50 main characters, and theres a Mayor and they live in a town called Sandlelands! I'll say the rest later

I'm not good with soap operas.

We had one of these threads about movies where you had to make the perfect movie. I made one about ATRL. This is just so much harder because there isn't enough to do in soap operas.

This is basically what happens in a soap opera. X is with Y. Y cheats on X with Z. X kills Y and Z as revenge. I mean isn't that what it is all about.
