But her comment wasn't about the difficulty of the job itself, but of being able to work and take care of your kids. Of course, Gwyneth has money for nannies, but her comment on it's own, in black-and-white does have a bit of a point. If you have a job that requires travel it will be harder to do the parenting yourself.

This is exactly why she keeps getting called out on her idiotic comments. I'd say the millions she makes per movie are well worth the 14-hour-days that apparently nobody else but an actor can relate with.

And to the people saying nobody told these moms to have kids, are you serious?

Nobody told Gweneth she had to have kids either. In fact nobody told Gweneth she had to keep acting, or taking roles on films that don't fit her desired schedule. If anything, Gweneth is in more of a position to get the kind of schedule she wants because of her status. Mother's like Mackenzie don't have anywhere near that luxury, especially when many of them are juggling multiple jobs, and a busy home life, ALL year round, not just during filming months, AND don't get paid even a quarter of what Gweneth makes from one movie.

Gwyneth says the dumbest ****. Yeah u work hard for those weeks but then u get to stay home with your kids for as long as you want since you're worth millions of dollars. The women who have to work 9-to-5 don't have that luxury or that level of security.

She needs to STFU sometimes.

To the people saying Gwyneth can afford having someone watching after her kids: of course she can, but I mean, she'd like to see her kids herself and prevent the nannies to possibly give Apple or Moses a chocolate bar

Seriously, she'd like to see her kids, like any mom in the world, so I somehow get her frustration when she says she can't see them when she's on set for hours or days, although I agree she got the obligations of an ordinary female worker mixed up, but come on

People wanna find any reason to hate on her, especially Americans
